Parodying Google, the world’s largest search engine, a US entrepreneur today launched Booble, a new search engine for adult material.
An unnamed New York-based former internet executive has pumped his own money into the new website, which its founder said was intended to be “fun, but useful too”.
It allows users to filter through more than 6,000 hand-selected listings of internet adult content.
The Booble site looks to be down at the moment, so I can’t really comment on it, however you can read more about it yourself. I wonder if Google will let them keep that name or not? I would assume so, but I think the site would have to be designed in a way that is not confusingly similar to the real Google site.
I remember Yahoo putting the smack down way back in the day on a marijuana based spoof called “Ya-Hooka“. Looks like it still exists… it just doesn’t look almost exactly like Yahoo anymore.
