I have used this paint on my car before and it works wonders. There is a mid sized paint manufacturing firm in Perth, Western Australia which manufactures all kinds of industrial coatings. One of their products is called Metalfix and its a rust converting primer thats waterbased. Some of its stats are incredible, can withstand temps up to 1000 degrees celcius etc. I thought you may be interested, you can find their details on www.phoenixpaints.com.au.
