I can’t tell you how many games we won with his arm at the end of a game, making some unbelievable throws and winning games with his talent. No question, he made me a heck of a lot better as a coach. He made everyone better.
Growing-up as a Broncos fan, it’s interesting to read Reeves praise Elway as they had a pretty well televised power struggle during his tenure as the Broncos coach, and eventually it was one of the issues leading to his dismissal (at least its a rumor that Elway wanted to be traded if Reeves were to remain the head coach). I wonder if he’ll continue coaching, or will retire?
