Metro area law-enforcement agencies recently arrested an extremely prolific thief who may be responsible for felony crimes from Longmont to southern Douglas County over the last 18 months. His arrest has led to the recovery of thousands of pieces of stolen property. If you have been the victim of a property crime (a burglary, theft, auto theft, theft from a motor vehicle), we may have recovered your belongings.
The items include furniture, antiques, air and power tools, paintings, photo albums, cameras, building supplies, collectibles, even an electric wheel chair. The alleged thief was an opportunist who stole anything and everything! Some of the names associated with some items include Robert Harber, Trish Green, Kevin Farris, Joaquin Trujillo, Richard Haberl, Pearl Cantrell, Floyd McCall, James Barr, Mary Howell, Neal Troy, Melinda Fielder, Gloria Lahaye, Freddy Mendoza, Carlos Calzado, Bruce Taylor, and Ed Veglia.
