Well, it looks like my earlier contribution was not wasted. At the moment, it looks like Christine Gregorie has won the election in Washington after a 3rd recount which was done by hand. Previously the Repubs were bitching about how the Dems were dragging their feet because of the recount. Now that the tables have turned:
Gregoire called on state residents to unite. But Chris Vance, the GOP state chairman, had already vowed: “This battle is not over.”
I love hypocrites. Of course it’s not over until the SOS certifies the recount, but I’d think that this particular election is going to be in some sort of legal gridlock for some time to come…
