I was just telling my friend Molly something about some work I did in the past (while browsing Amazon to populate some more stuff on the Wish List), and I remembered something that happened pretty early in my career. It’s funny to think about it now, but back in the day, I actually did a site for a book called Caffiene Blues which was basically about caffeine addition and how to get over it.
I specifically remember it because at the time, as I am now, I was totally addicted to caffeine! The irony of that was a little bit of a joke at the office in fact. I also remember it because there was not a digital version of the book cover available, so I had to scan in the book cover and work some Photoshop magic to design the site. I’m so glad to be far past my brochure-ware era. That sort of work is very boring and not rewarding at all to me, personally. No offense to those who do like it– everyone has their preferences. I can certainly appreciate a well-designed site.
Archive.org seems to have the old site.. enjoy! That animated coffee steam is teh hotness! My flatpanel monitor now has condensation from it, in fact.
