A few hours ago Audrey was looking outside as usual, except she started growling really loudly, and barking with the “I’m a 200 lb badass dog in a 48 lb Greyhound’s body” bark, etc. I was a little taken back as it was the first time I’ve heard her do that other than when playing. In general she’s a very friendly dog who loves other animals (even snakes) and people. For instance, usually if someone is at the door she gets excited and wants to jump all over them (even the UPS guy, etc.) By the time I went to go see what she was barking about, I didn’t see anything.
Not long after that she started whining because she needed to go out, so I put her harness on, and out we went. While she was going to the bathroom I finally spotted what she was so worked-up about; I saw a couple of Jehovah’s Witness types walking around door to door. Apparently they skipped my house because of my killer attack dog. Good doggy.
