Big Eddie is Coming to Colorado

16Feb05

One of my favorite radio talk show personalities, Ed Schultz, will be in Boulder on Monday, February 21st to do a live show. Unfortunately we don’t have Presidents Day off like most companies do, but I’m going to take the afternoon off to go sit in the audience and check it out. I wish I would of went to see Franken when he was here towards the end of last year, but I’d expect him to come back again someday.

If his show follows the same format as other shows when they’re on the road, I’d expect there to be some local Dems either there or calling in, such as Andrew Romanoff (Speaker of the House) perhaps?

I’m only asking one of those left field “what if” rhetorical questions. ;)

For instance when Franken was in SF, they did a phone interview with either Senator Boxer or Senator Feinstein. It was sometime in the late Summer/early Fall, so I don’t remember for sure now.

I also caught Andrew on Franken once upon a time. It was a couple of weeks after the election– he was on to mostly talk about the new Democratic majority in the Colorado House.

So there you go. Actually I heard an ad for some guy who’s going to be coming on during the Morning’s Edition slot.. ack. It’s cool that they are hiring someone to cover local issues, but at the same time I enjoy the Mark’s in the morning (even a Libertarian friend of mine likes that show).
