Admittedly I’m not a big fan of the snow unless it’s an all out snow storm. We finally had another one here in Denver with around 12″ of snow or so.
Here are a couple of photos I took last night (I wasn’t willing to really get out of the house other than taking the dog out.. as such I took these from my porch)
I don’t know what it is about my POS digital camera, but it seems to help me capture some pretty decent images from time to time for someone who doesn’t really know that much about photography. Granted I do play with the film speed and apeture, but still…
Also on Friday night Audrey and I broke-up some sort of attempt of someone stealing a Motorcycle. She needed to go out at around 12 AM to go to the bathroom, so we headed outside. As we got to well, her spot, I noticed someone messing around with a motorcycle. He got up casually and said “wassup”, and then started sprinting away. I just kind of shrugged it off and figured there wasn’t much I could do about it after past experiences with police being too busy to tend to suspicious behavior and so forth.
About 20-30 minutes later there were about 6 cops in my hood looking for the guy, so I went outside and told them what I saw. I doubt they caught him, but I think he’d been basically messing around in the neighborhood in general as someone else called it in. However, I was very impressed with the response by the Westminster Police, and have to give them props for that.
