While I took a couple of years of woodworking in High School, I greatly regret not being able to fit a Welding class into my schedule given my interest in cars. I have actually had to have someone do some welding for me on a past project car, and see myself needing to weld-up some new bumper supports for the Z when I convert it to the 240Z style bumpers. A friend of mine does welding sculpture work, but unfortunately she doesn’t have her own equipment so it’s difficult to schedule a time for her to teach me.
Outside of that, its been fairly difficult to find any sort of welding training in Denver. However, I randomly stumbled across the Community College of Denver which offers Welding classes! Sweet! I’m fairly sure they are offered in the evenings.
Update: Yep, it looks like they are offered in the evenings for sure, from 5-8:30 PM.

Dude! Sign me up!
Have you looked into the http://www.aws.org/w/sense/ . It shows local schools that have welding classes. It’s a really good welding school locator from the American Welding Society
