Shake Your Bacon

19Jul07

I think I just came across one of the most important inventions since the beginning of mankind. What is it? Something which I should order immediately; Bacon Salt!

Testing The Limits of the United States Postal Service

05Jan07

I just came across one of the most interesting and hilarious science experiments I’ve seen in awhile:

We sent a variety of unpackaged items to U.S. destinations, appropriately stamped for weight and size, as well as a few items packaged as noted. We sent items that loosely fit into the following general categories: valuable, sentimental, unwieldy, [...]

America Is Being Attacked By Gay Devil Foods!

12Dec06

Oh nos! Save us! We’re feeding our kids DEVIL FOODS THAT MAKES THEM TEH GAYS!
On a related note, Henry Rollins rants about the current religious movements in the US, and although his round-about presentation could have been better, he drops enough f-bombs to make me happy.

What’s Next For The United States

08Nov06

Now that the smoke is starting to clear from the election, and the Democrats have control of the House and maybe even the Senate, it’s time to start rolling out all of the changes the neocons have been fearing. Most of all, I’m happy to see that we’re returning Texas to Mexico.
Good riddance, Texas.

Pricing Algorithims: Save Money on Computers, Flights, and More

28May06

I came across a PDF version of an article printed in Caltech’s Engineering & Science titled “The Price Is Right Mysterious” which discusses some basic economic algorithms for various items such as computers, flights, groceries, etc. I’ve always had a minor interest in Economics, and of course I like to save money, so I [...]

This Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003 crime scene template uses updated versions of the crime scene shapes that were available in Microsoft Visio 5.0 and Microsoft Visio 2000. [...]

09May06

While I do not posess a lot of the dead giveaway traits of a typical geek (I’m not into fantasy stuff like Lord of The Rings at all, have never played DnD, I can talk to the opposite sex without staring at my feet, etc), there are certainly some traits I do have. I [...]

MIT Hacks: Super Mario Brothers

17Dec05

Ahh, how I wish I were geeky/elite enough for MIT sometimes– I love reading/seeing all of the pranks that happen there. The latest one turned a hall into a level of Super Mario Brothers.

This Glove Holder Of My Mom’s

13Dec05

A rather “unique” dildo is for sale on Amazon, and hilarious comments ensue. Probably NSFW and not for the timid or easily offended, but those of you with deranged mind will probably enjoy it.

New Cell Phone For Dogs

07Dec05

According to Wired, a new cell phone for dogs is due to hit the store shelves soon. I’m not sure how cell phone part would be all that helpful at least for me, but the GPS and camera part would be pretty cool:

The ability to track a lost pet has most dog lovers excited. [...]
